With over 25 years of experience helping our chiropractic patients, Dr. Charles Salanger and Dr. Carol Spiegelman have worked extensively with personal injury patients and with workers' compensation patients. Following an injury on the job, our chiropractors in San Diego will utilize a variety of non invasive methods to bring pain relief. Workers' compensation injuries can be caused by a sudden fall or on the job hazard, by a repetitive motion injury, or by immobility. Most people are at their job for between eight and 10 hours daily, so work injuries are more common than other types of injury.

Our Chiropractor Can Help With Your On-the-Job Injury

San Diego chiropractors treat work injury patients

Either Dr. Salanger or Dr. Spiegelman will be the chiropractor who helps our patients with injuries sustained on the job. These injuries can vary widely, and the pain can occur in nearly any area of the body.

Some of the most typical injuries for our patients may result in neck pain, back pain, or headaches. We can help with the neck pain, back pain, headaches or other pain, no matter how the injury occurred.

Repetitive Motion Injuries

Repetitive motion injuries are the most common type of on-the-job injury. When the same motion has to be repeated many times each day, it can put an unusual level of strain on the muscles and soft tissue used to make this motion. This type of injury includes conditions like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and sciatica.

Immobility Injuries

Immobility injuries happen when people sit or stand in the same position for protracted periods of time as part of their job. This type of injury may include pain that radiates to the extremities, herniated discs, and disc degeneration.

Sudden Accidents

People who work in nearly any job environment may fall victim to sudden on-the-job accidents. Such accidents may include a slip and fall, back injury due to heavy lifting, shoulder injury, or any type of soft tissue damage.

Our chiropractors will always treat injuries with non-invasive methods. Chiropractic adjustments to the back and neck, massage therapy, ultrasound, interferential electrical muscle stimulation, microamperage neural stimulation, and heat therapy may all be used to help patients to remove pain without the need for dangerous drugs or surgeries.
